ANALYZING THE STUDENTS’ ENGLISH ACHIEVEMNET THROUGH COOPERATIVE GROUP DISCUSSION

چکیده

The goal of this study was to make students able communicate fluently using English in everyday life, cooperative group discussion strategies more active interacting with others. To collect the data for research, writer used interview and questionnaire eighth grade at junior high school 2 Palembang. Each student will be given a paper like questionnaire. author discussed results research that has been done, namely technique learning speaking skills grade. From processing, it can concluded techniques improve ''speaking skills". Most (50%) 16 respondents answered fully agree, while rest chose 8 agree. Then dominant result is balanced. overall showed discussions effectively students' skills, they actively conduct their friends. Allow them have an opinion help each other, without mocking or laughing other.
